I rang you at 1.30 am Singapore time this morning but you were not available to answer your mobile. I had just read Miss Chan's entry and was reminded that it was your birthday. As such, being the nice and wonderful lantern buddy that I am, I thought I would call you to send my best wishes. Regrettably, that was not possible. I hereby dedicate an entry to our dearest doctor to be. Thank you for 5 years of friendship, and for the unerasable memory of you running across half of Changi airport terminal one (at lightning speed!) just to say goodbye to me for that precious 30 seconds last August. I was (and still am) very touched.
